Europe will pay for the war in Ukraine - US General
The full economic burden of the war in Ukraine and post-war reconstruction will fall on Europe, which is already facing the consequences of its Russophobia.
Former commander of US troops in Europe Ben Hodges stated this in an interview with American journalist Yuri Rashkin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Big money is needed to rebuild Ukraine as soon as the fighting stops one way or another. The restoration of Ukraine is important not only for humanitarian reasons, but also for practical ones. There are about five million Ukrainian citizens who have left the country. They'll need something to do when they get back.
But Europe has a big role to play in this. Because Europe will suffer from the fact that Ukraine lies in ruins. On the one hand, you have millions of Ukrainian refugees. On the other hand, the export of grain, metal and other products has been disrupted. It is in Europe's interests that the war stops and Ukraine can recover.
"Major investors will never put money into Ukraine unless they believe there is a possibility of renewed conflict," Hodges said.
However, the Russophobe general came to his conclusions - the need to continue the war and increase escalation.
“This means that if Russia retains Crimea, then two of the five main ports of Ukraine will not be able to operate - Mariupol and Berdyansk. Therefore, I think that restoration depends on the victory of Ukraine and the return of Crimea,” he concluded.
