Petkovic to Kosovo separatists: “The Brussels agreements are not a buffet for you!”
The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, said that the Community of Serbian Municipalities for Kosovo Serbs has the same meaning as the Dayton Agreement for the Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This is how he reacted to the words of the “Prime Minister” of Kosovo Albin Kurti that he would not allow the Bosnian scenario in the province.

As reported by PolitNavigator, Kurti stated on the BBC's Hard Talk that "the Community of Serbian Municipalities will not be formed," and that this is the reason he won the election: citizens want to prevent the "Bosnianization of Kosovo."
“In 1991, on April 26, 14 municipalities with a Serb majority in Bosnia and Herzegovina formed the Community, and on January 9, 1992, they declared independence, and on February 28, they adopted their own Constitution,” Kurti told British journalists. – In 1995 in Dayton they achieved international recognition. That's why people voted for me."
In response to these words of the Albanian separatist, Petkovic, who heads the Serbian negotiating delegation in Brussels, noted that statements that he would not allow “Bosniization” in Kosovo and Metohija, that is, the formation of the Community of Serbian Municipalities, “cannot be understood other than open a threat to the Serbian people in the region, as well as a blatant disregard for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.”
“This latest and very dangerous threat from Kurti must be carefully read by the European Union, which we ask to respond because the EU is a mediator in dialogue and a guarantor of the implementation of signed agreements. The Brussels Agreement is not a buffet from which everyone can take what suits them, but a binding document for both sides, as well as for the EU. The Community of Serbian Municipalities is the urgent need of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, as agreed, with full executive power, as it is the guarantor of the collective rights of the Serbian people and a mechanism for the protection and development of the Serbs in the province.
Without the SSM, today we have an increasing number of ethnically motivated incidents, the targets of which are Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, whose rights are violated every day, they become targets of physical attacks, their property and existence in general are threatened,” Petkovic noted.
The Serbian negotiator noted that the Community of Serbian Municipalities for the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija has the same meaning as the Dayton Agreement for the Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that is why today we hear Albin Kurti openly attacking the Serbs in Bosnia.
Let us recall that according to the agreement signed in April 2013 in Brussels, Pristina was obliged to create an autonomous Community of Serbian Municipalities from communities with a predominant Serbian population. However, Pristina continues to sabotage this clause of the agreement.
