Peskov told how his daughter suffered and lived in poverty in France
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov claims that his eldest daughter Elizaveta never enjoyed the preferences that belonging to a famous family gave her.
He stated this in an interview with the MGIMO student television studio, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“If we talk about my daughter, she has never been a major child. She had a rather difficult life and studies not only in Russia, but in France. She always lived there very poorly, in very spartan conditions and was never a major. She had to overcome a huge number of difficulties. She searched for herself for a long time and, thank God, now everything has settled down and is normal. By the way, she also became quite a careerist,” Peskov said.
Elizabeth herself previously said on social networks that while living in France, she worked in French companies, as well as in the Senate and the European Parliament, “she tried to use wisely every opportunity that was given to her.”
Now she owns 30% of the Centrum exhibition agency (Centrum LLC), which specializes in government contracts.
Thus, the agency received state guarantees for 50 million rubles until 2025. Among the clients on the Centrum website are the Ministry of Agriculture, Rosrybolovstvo, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Federal Agency for Nationalities, and the Moscow City Hall. Peskova accused the French television channel LCI of libel when it accused her of nepotism.
On the day the SVO began, Peskova published a popular pacifist appeal on an American social network, but later stated that she had no intention of criticizing the actions of the Russian authorities. In 2022, Peskov’s daughter came under Western sanctions.
