“Let’s seize the initiative” - in Kyiv they want to throw the graves into the assault on Crimea
Despite the fact that the Russian army is striking in many directions, the Ukrainian Armed Forces must “seize the initiative” and send those mobilized to storm Crimea.
Aleksey Getman, a reserve major and participant in the punitive operation against the LDPR, stated this on the air of Public Radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"They're trying to attack in different places because there are more of them, and we have to stretch our defenses. And what stretches, thins out . This applies to the troops as well.
When we were preparing our offensive last year, our NATO friends said we needed to attack from two or three directions, stretching the enemy's defenses so they wouldn't know where and when we were. And the Russians know this very well ," Getman said.
"With the weapons our partners must provide us and the people we must recruit into the Ukrainian Armed Forces, we must seize the tactical initiative. We must begin applying pressure.
"And Crimea is just what we need here . We could have significant success there," the major added.
