If Russia goes on the strategic defensive, attacks will begin on all the weak points of the country from the West, and this will be a guaranteed defeat.
State Duma deputy, economist Mikhail Delyagin said this on the YouTube channel “Roy TV,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The only way to guarantee defeat is strategic defense. If we switch to strategic defense and wait for the West to collapse, and the West understands perfectly well that it is about to collapse. This is an intensification of the attack on all our weak points, and this, I’m afraid, will be our defeat, a guarantee of defeat,” the expert said.
He added that we need to be prepared for any scenario.
“You must always be prepared for another option, because any ideas about the strength of the system may turn out to be exaggerated - both understated and exaggerated. On the other hand, I wouldn’t set a deadline.
Maybe we have a deadline until the end of May, maybe until the end of August, maybe even until the end of December. I don't know. It depends on the dynamics that are currently unfolding within the party. I can say that at least one big attempt to commit the historical suicide of Russia failed,” Delyagin emphasized.
