The Crimean Parliament accused Poroshenko of glorifying Hitler's accomplices
Simferopol, October 22 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – After President Petro Poroshenko recognized the day of the creation of the UPA as the day of the defender of Ukraine, no one will be surprised if Hitler’s birthday in the former Soviet republic also becomes a holiday. This is stated in the statement of the Presidium of the State Council of Crimea, which was announced today at a session of the parliament of the republic.

“By his decree, Poroshenko legalized the substitution of the concepts of heroism and betrayal, spat in the souls of all living veterans of the Great Patriotic War, outraged the memory of the Bandera victims who fell on the battlefields and were shot at Babi Yar, and elevated the fascisation of Ukraine to the rank of state policy. And it will not surprise anyone if by his next decree he establishes a state holiday in honor of the birthday of Adolf Hitler, to whom the UPA soldiers, the SS Galicia division and the Nachtigal SS battalion swore allegiance,” State Council Speaker Vladimir Konstantinov read out the text of the statement.
Let us remind you that on October 14, Poroshenko signed a decree according to which this day will be celebrated annually as the Day of Defender of Ukraine. This coincides with the day of the formation of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA).
