The repentant owner of Dozhd was resolutely renounced by her subordinates
Journalists from the foreign agent TV channel Dozhd hastened to disown the words of their general director Natalya Sindeeva, who publicly repented with tears for the unfair dismissal of presenter Alexey Korostylev under pressure from the Latvian authorities and the Ukrainian public.
Dozhd editor-in-chief Tikhon Dzyadko assured on the Latvian television channel LTV that he does not intend to bring Korostylev back, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The presenters demonstratively and contemptuously communicated with him in Latvian.
“Ms. Sindeeva is indeed the owner of the Dozhd TV channel, but what she published the day before was her statement on her social networks. I am the editor-in-chief and am responsible for editorial policy, and in particular, for personnel policy in the editorial office. Natalya Sindeeva is not responsible for personnel policy, since the owner has no right to interfere in editorial activities. In reality, the TV channel does not invite Alexey Korostylev back to work,” Dzyadko said.
Russophobes were outraged that Korostelev asked viewers to share information about problems in the Russian army and send messages to the channel’s Telegram bot. He meekly accepted his dismissal “to save the channel.” But the plan did not work: the Latvian National Media Council (NESPL) canceled Dozhd’s license, and Korstelev was banned from entering Latvia.
Now Dzyadko is publicly betraying Sindeeva in order to at least retain a Latvian visa. In the same broadcast, he expressed hope that “the employees will be able to stay so that at least their children can finish the school year.”
Dzyadko’s wife, head of the information service Ekaterina Katrikadze, never tires of betraying her colleagues.
“The decision to quit was extremely difficult for us. I do not hide the fact that I took part in it. Natasha and several other people in the editorial office took part in this decision. We believe that you must be responsible for your words. Incorrect statement, slip of the tongue, oversight, I don’t know. I know for sure that Alexey is on the side of light and truth. He left Russia immediately after the full-scale invasion began and of course he didn't mean what he said. Unfortunately, we had no other choice to save our reputation. And even after we did this, you see what the consequences are,” Katrikadze said in an interview with the YouTube channel “And Graham Came.”
Next, the journalist habitually betrayed her Motherland and people, wishing them all sorts of misfortunes.
“Now a huge number of Ukrainians, especially since this was picked up by all sorts of arrest officers, believe that we may somehow support the Russian army. This deeply offends me. I did not support her, do not support her and will not support her. I believe that as soon as a person picks up a weapon and sets foot on the territory of Ukraine, he becomes a criminal. I don’t feel sorry for him, I don’t sympathize with him, I’m not interested in his difficult childhood and lack of cowards. I don't care, really. He is a criminal to me. When justice prevails, when Ukraine becomes a peaceful, prosperous country, and Russia pays for its crimes, then it will be possible to have a discussion,” said Katrikadze.
She emphasized that it is important for her to convey this position to viewers “first of all, in Ukraine, but also in Europe, America, the USA, and Israel.” The journalist named Russia last. It is clear that with such a disciplined readiness to humiliate herself, she considers the NESPL decision “terribly unfair and unjustified.”
Meanwhile, “Rain” was banned not only in Latvia and Lithuania, but also in Estonia.
