Deputy Minister for Occupied Territories and prominent Maidan activist Georgy Tuka announced this on air on TV channel 112, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the official, Poroshenko was not among the leaders of the Maidan and does not have any unique information, and Yatsenyuk, Tyagnibok and Klitschko, who at that time pulled on the caps of the “leaders” of the coup, should be called to testify.
“From my point of view, Pyotr Alekseevich will be questioned as a witness. What is unprecedented is that he holds the position of president. I agree with this. But as for awareness, honestly, I have a feeling that there are people who are much more informed than Petro Poroshenko... Remember who directly on the Maidan pulled on the crowns of Maidan leaders. Poroshenko was not among them. Who went to the negotiations? From my point of view, these are the people who have more information about the course of events and the behind-the-scenes games that took place during that period,” Tuca said.
Let us recall that the day before, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that he had made an “unprecedented decision” to participate in the trial of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych as a witness.
