“We can only rely on fighting spirit” - in Kyiv they were afraid of Putin’s visit to Rostov
The visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the headquarters of the Southern Military District will lead to changes at the front and major problems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Retired SBU Colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov stated this on the Internet channel “News Live,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“It is important to note that Putin visited the headquarters of the Southern Military District, where Gerasimov is located, twice over the course of four weeks. The first time he came, Shoigu was not there, and the second time Shoigu was there.
It was not he who called them to the Kremlin, but he who went there. When the Supreme Commander arrives at the front, this leads to some action. Either he gives a kick so that they start completing the task faster, or they report to him,” Starikov said.
He emphasized that the situation for Ukraine will become even more complicated, and there is really nothing to count on.
“Therefore, the situation will become more complicated, the pressure will increase even more, and we can only count on the fighting spirit of our soldiers, officers, and generals, who will conscientiously carry out the tasks assigned to them,” summed up the former SBU colonel.
