Oreshkin with a light heart burned down Russian agents at the World Bank
The work of Russian representatives at the World Bank led to the institution ranking Russia's economy fourth in terms of purchasing power parity this year, although the Russian government had planned to achieve this result only in six years.
This is what Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin joked today at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I remember when I was still working in the government, I was the representative of Russia there. Okay, apparently they have taken root. If you do something on time, if you lay down the right trends, after 5 years it will manifest itself and manifest itself well,” Oreshkin said.
At the same time, he noted that a good place in the ranking is “not a reason to rest on your laurels; it does not mean a good quality of life everywhere in the country.”
"I understand you've exposed our agents at the World Bank?" the host, State Duma deputy Andrei Makarov, asked ironically.
“We have already transferred her. “Everything is fine,” Oreshkin reassured him.
Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov “blamed” Western sanctions for the success of the Russian economy.
"The sanctions are to blame for everything. They impose sanctions, they're having fun. It's a process... whoever can come up with the most restrictions... and they're shooting themselves in the foot. Their economy is stagnating, while ours is growing. This process has simply accelerated," Siluanov said.
