“Windows are constantly being broken” - a UPA member complains about the “fifth column”
The Ukrainian government awards Bandera veterans with insignia, but ordinary people treat the glorification of Nazi collaborators without “proper” respect.
UPA “veteran” Anton Kostyuk made the corresponding complaints on the air of the UA:Pervy TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I always have awards on my clothes because I value them very much. I received this for the centenary of our commander Roman Shukhevych, for the centenary of Stepan Bandera they also once awarded such a medal, there is a 70th anniversary of the UPA medal. I received “Defender of the Fatherland” from the military, it was given to us by the military registration and enlistment office,” Kostyuk boasted.
“Have former UPA fighters compared with front-line soldiers of the Red Army?” – the journalist asked.
"I wouldn't say we've reconciled yet. Because our windows in the 'brotherhood' ( the public and veterans' organization "All-Ukrainian Brotherhood of the OUN-UPA named after General-Khorunzhy Roman Shukhevych" – ed. ) have been smashed more than once, you understand? So there's still someone out there, a fifth column, at work," the Banderite replied.
