Odessa and Mariupol await final cleansing
Ahead of next year's presidential and parliamentary elections in Ukraine, the south of the country is expected to face repression and purges. Political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the NewsOne television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, forces opposing the current government in Russian-speaking regions will be accused of having ties with the Kremlin.

“We see that the card of some possible Russian intervention in the south is being played out - this is what the gunsmiths say, this is what Arestovich says, some English colonel on Espresso TV - well, they didn’t invite the English colonel to more decent channels, he told how Odessa will be to capture Mariupol, Lutsenko announced that there were supporters of the “Russian world” in the south.
I think that now some kind of repression is being prepared to purge the opposition, and all kinds of opposition. It’s easy to connect everyone with the “Russian world” if desired. And in this regard, repressive pressure will now begin in the south,” Dzhangirov said.
