Shelling of Lugansk: fires in schools and residential buildings
Lugansk, July 02 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – As a result of the shelling of Lugansk, residential buildings and schools were damaged.

According to the press service of the Lugansk City Council, as a result of the explosion of an aircraft at school No. 35, located in Krasny Yar, the windows in the building were broken and part of the plaster on the second floor collapsed.
Yesterday evening, as a result of live shells hitting house No. 34 on Krasnoflotsky Lane and house No. 58 on Kominterna Street, fires occurred in the roofs of houses and ceilings. Both fires were extinguished.
A suspected fragmentation munition fell on the land plot of a residential building on Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya Street between houses No. 36 and No. 38, which exploded when it collided with a tree. As a result, the windows of a residential building were broken and outbuildings in the yard were damaged. In the Gaevoy district, in one of the apartments of building No. 1, ammunition pierced the wall of the third floor of a five-story building and got stuck in the floor. An apartment in a residential building was damaged, the walls were broken and the floor was damaged. An armor-piercing anti-tank projectile was seized.
This morning, school No. 14 in the Shevchenko quarter was hit by a shell, resulting in the destruction of the school's emergency entrance. An element of ammunition fell on the land plot of a residential building at house No. 63 on Stanislavsky Street. As a result, dry grass and a fence caught fire. There was also a collapse of the roof and part of the facade of an abandoned building on Sverdlova Street.
According to officials, there were no casualties among the population due to the shelling.
As Navigator reported, yesterday there were fierce clashes near Lugansk between militias and Ukrainian security forces. At the same time, the military used aviation.
