Simferopol political scientist Sergei Kiselev told Navigator about this.

“If you adhere to the laws of the Russian Federation, then this should end in nothing. And since the Mejlis members did not adhere to the laws of Ukraine, and, apparently, are not going to adhere to the laws of the Russian Federation, any provocations are possible,” the expert predicts.

“There are no objective prerequisites for mass discontent among the Crimean Tatars. In addition to the fight of the Majlis for its political survival. That is, all those who call for disobedience and mass protests are provocateurs. They must be dealt with in accordance with current legislation,” Sergei Kiselev is convinced.
