German and Russian businessmen will cooperate despite sanctions
Frankfurt (Oder) - Kyiv, October 22 (PolitNavigator, Vasily Ablyazimov) – Despite the unresolved conflict between Russia and the West, provoked by the civil war in Ukraine, entrepreneurs from Brandenburg will meet with their Russian counterparts next week to discuss cooperation, writes the German newspaper Die Welt.

The Brandenburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Frankfurt an der Oder invited a large Russian delegation on October 29 for talks on cooperation and establishing potential business relations in the region.
Industrialist and politician Gordon Wolgemuth said on Tuesday: "We want to initiate a new business relationship with Russia." In particular, the negotiations may focus on products whose imports have been banned in Russia.
“Despite the current situation in Ukraine, German-Russian trade and business relations are possible,” Gordon Wohlgemuth said in a television interview.
