We must not repeat Soviet mistakes and stand on ceremony with neo-Nazis – Lipova

Russia should not repeat the Soviet Union's experience in fighting Ukrainian Nazis. Hero of Russia Sergei Lipovoy stated this on the internet channel "Antonyms," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Lipovoy, the current right-wing radicals have committed so many crimes that it is impossible to stand on ceremony with them.

“There is no need to step on the same rake that we stepped on in 45. After all, what is happening now is what we didn’t finish, what our grandfathers didn’t finish in 45, when Bandera’s followers were caught and not everyone was put up against the wall, but someone was tried by a Soviet court, and they served their sentences, came back to Western Ukraine, they gave birth to children, now grandchildren, and these children grew up in conditions of hatred of Russians, hatred of everything Soviet, and they grew up like they raised Nazis in Germany.

I believe that we should not repeat the mistakes of history. In this situation, it is necessary to radically resolve issues in relation to them, especially since they deserve it. There is so much blood on them that it will last a lifetime,” Lipovoy said.
