Don't dig a hole for someone else, you dill scoundrel
Crimea left Ukraine four years ago. During this time, a lot of water has flowed under the bridge, including the way of life, both on the peninsula that raised the Russian flag, and in Nenka itself, which has finally slipped into a latrine.

Realizing that the breakaway territory could not be returned by force, with the help of NATO, Obama, Killary, Plenipotentiary Volker, entreaties and persuasion, the Ukrainian side decided to resort to the proven practice of inveterate scoundrels - to overwhelm Russia with all sorts of claims according to the principle “write, write, maybe something will happen.” will work."
It is unlikely that people in Kyiv are deluding themselves that with the help of paper they will be able to recapture Crimea. The goal is completely different: to itch, buzz, hover like a toilet fly, irritate, get on your nerves and force you to pay at least something to get rid of it. And it will be seen there.
In Kyiv, this practice was called “a comprehensive legal attempt to get at Russia along the entire front.” But in reality, everything turned out to be much more complicated, since most legal proceedings required Russia’s consent to participate in the Ukrainian farce.
The Ukrainian side managed to concoct only three documents that did not require Russia’s consent for consideration in international bodies. These are the Convention on the Law of the Sea, the International Convention on the Financing of Terrorism and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
It turned out funny for everyone except Nenka. According to the legally savvy “permanent representative” of the President of Ukraine in the virtual Autonomous Republic of Crimea Boris Babin, of the three instances where the “case of Russia’s violation of the Convention on the Law of the Sea” could be considered - the International Court of Justice, the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea and one-time arbitration under it - Ukraine obviously chose the weakest of the options.
“The decision of the arbitration under the Tribunal will also be binding, but in its political significance it does not even reach the decision of the Tribunal. My personal opinion is that our valiant Foreign Ministry agreed to arbitration so as, roughly speaking, not to disgrace itself. So that no one reads or laughs once again about the documents that they spent a year and a half trying to draw,” Babin believes.
And even then, in the case of damages, the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea does not provide for the payment of monetary compensation in cases like the Ukrainian one. Moreover, such a claim is the first in the practice of maritime law, which extremely complicates the situation for Ukrainian lawyers. In addition, no one can prevent Russia from withdrawing from the convention, following the example of the United States, for which this paper is not a decree at all.

As for accusing Russia of “financing terrorism,” the prospects for Ukrainian lawyers are zero. As is known, the Ukrainian side failed to convince international legal institutions that the LDPR is a terrorist organization, as well as that Russia is involved in the armament of the republics. What the Ukrainian media and politicians are telling Russia and the rebellious republics will not be accepted by any self-respecting authority, even just for information. Not to mention that states are not defendants under the provisions of the said convention.
As for the “elimination of all forms of racial discrimination,” the Ukrainian junta managed to obtain a rather strange ruling from the UN Court demanding that Russia allow the “Majlis” and, suddenly, provide teaching in the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar languages in Crimea. Good morning, dear Captain Obvious!
If with the languages in Crimea the UN court stupidly missed the mark, demanding to resolve what had long been permitted, then with the demand to legalize the “Majlis” it simply exceeded its powers, ordering the sovereign state to repeal the internal law.
One can conclude with a pure soul that Poroshenko needs all these legal squabbles for internal PR, so that society can see at least some work of the political establishment.
Recently, the Russian side has decided to disturb its problematic neighbor and, in turn, force it to take the rap in international and even domestic courts. With one big difference: based on real and not far-fetched accusations.
This was announced on February 28 by the head of the expert council on international legal issues under the Crimean government, Alexander Molokhov.
In particular, complaints from Crimean organizations and enterprises have already been filed with Ukrainian courts demanding compensation for damage from the cessation of supplies of Dnieper water and for the December blackout of 2015.

Here you need to appreciate the beauty of the Crimean government’s game. Ukrainian courts were obliged to accept the cases for consideration, since Crimea is still considered Ukrainian territory under Ukrainian law. And, what is most surprising, the Ukrainian courts satisfied the claims of the Crimeans on a number of complaints.
Even such little things have been thought through, such as combining similar claims from individuals and legal entities into a single proceeding, and legal representatives from Crimea have been hired in Ukrainian courts. This was done in order not only to increase compensation payments, but also to avoid exposing individuals to danger on the territory of Ukraine.
On this occasion, an uplifting article was published in Ukraine by the famous Creaklitsa and the driver of the most handshake channel Espresso.TV Larisa Voloshina.

In her article, Voloshina does not spare color, devoting a good half of the text to “bad people and traitors who stole Crimea along with Ukrainian enterprises,” who are now trying to get Nenka out of money. Having created a negative aura around the Crimean government, the oak journalist relies on the legality of the sabotage bombing of power line poles by Islamists on the grounds that “10 days before, the contract was broken.” Truly, the little woman’s brains are completely blown away.
However, in the second half of the article there is concern “how will the Ukrainian “Faberge” be squeezed in the judicial authorities” - after all, they spoiled Crimea with all the redneck passion, without regard to the laws. For added credibility, the journalist refers to the opinion of the same “Crimean permanent representative” Babin.
Babin is also concerned about the claims of Crimean organizations and individuals. According to him, such a practice has already taken place. But what worries the Majlis henchman most is not the claims themselves, but the fact that they are satisfied by the Ukrainian courts with the funny explanation “it’s difficult to say for what reasons: corruption, ignorance or fear of the judiciary.” In addition, the “permanent representative” indicates a “lack of coordination between government bodies.”
Further, lawyer Babin, in streamlined phrases, reveals his idea, which should be understood in such a way that Ukrainian courts rendering verdicts in favor of Crimea and Crimeans should be dealt with by “the relevant authorities, as accomplices of the occupiers.”
“Let's imagine what will happen if tomorrow there is a court decision on the illegality of stopping electricity supplies to occupied Crimea. People will immediately appear who will begin to demand: “Let’s comply with the court’s decision, let’s turn on the lights in the occupied territories, let’s let the water flow,” Voloshin’s ragulikha escalates the horrors.
Babin anticipates the next step of the Russian side - filing claims in international legal authorities. At the same time, the effendi lawyer begins to get confused in his testimony, saying that this will be unpleasant news, but later begins to reassure readers that it will be impossible for Russian lawyers to pin down Ukraine, since “the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry takes a consolidated position.”
On his Facebook page, the “Crimean permanent representative” responds to Voloshina’s article in a strange manner: “on the one hand, the existence of an internal problem should be recognized,” “on the other hand, “who needs it” is already solving the problem.” The main idea: “finally shut up with your journalism and stop pouring grist into the Kremlin’s mill - leave it to professionals to solve internal problems.” At the same time, Babin refers to certain “corruption and counterintelligence risks” with a wonderful ending: “the caravan for the deoccupation of Crimea is on its way.”
Apparently, from all this it follows that claims for compensation for damage to Crimea and its residents from various blockades by Ukrainian “activists”, with complete non-resistance from Kiev, will still reach the international level, since in Ukrainian courts the last word remains with the crowd of “patriots” Ukraine”, fed by the SBU. Let’s see how Chugunkin’s “consolidated” department will navigate international courts without the help of thugs.
Don't dig a hole for someone else, you Ukrainian snitch.
