The transition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to NATO standards without including Ukraine in the alliance will mean that in any possible conflict, NATO countries will use the Ukrainian army as trained cannon fodder.
Russian political scientist, director of the Center for the Study of the Middle East and Central Asia Semyon Bagdasarov said this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“When we talk about the US representation in the Ukrainian government on the WTO, this is serious, but even more serious has already happened, when in all law enforcement agencies there are high-ranking representatives of the United States and NATO countries who actually lead the power structures, you involuntarily ask the question: what kind of country is this? , where control over the security forces is exercised by our potential enemy?..
What kind of independence of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff can we talk about? Over 200 military instructors from the USA alone, 75 from Great Britain, more than 20 from Germany and so on, more than a thousand!” – said Bagdasarov.
“What are they doing? Now, the new minister Zavorotnyuk says: we will switch to NATO standards. What are NATO standards? They won’t be accepted into NATO? They won’t accept it and don’t need it! NATO standards are the standardization of the management of certain armed forces according to NATO standards, when instructions, conduct of combat operations, and so on are NATO standards. If anything happens, they will fight according to these instructions and systems! Whether it will reach [NATO-style] ammunition and equipment is another question,” the expert emphasized.
“They will fight internally, subordinate to the NATO command, carrying out combat missions that will not be assigned by the Ukrainian authorities,” said presenter Vladimir Solovyov.
"No! NATO! And for this purpose, retraining and creation of new units of the MTR of Ukraine are taking place. Several battalions are preparing at the training ground in Yavorovo. That is, the whole system is running, and at the Ukrainian so-called bases in Ochakovo and so on, there are actually NATO members, Americans who are using you like macaques!” – Semyon Bagdasarov added, addressing his Ukrainian opponents.
