Imported goods in Ukraine, unlike various social benefits, will increase in price in line with inflation. This was announced by Yuriy Gavrilechko, an expert with the Public Security Fund, at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“What imports will we buy? Expensive. For the reason that the Verkhovna Rada adopted the most interesting bill No. 6776-d, changes to the Tax Code that increase excise tax rates and tie them to indexation for inflation.
Taxes that are included in each product will automatically increase by the amount of inflation. Social payments and social standards will not increase by the amount of inflation, but excise taxes and other taxes will,” the expert outlined the situation.
