Militants of the 25th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the town of Shchastya in the Luhansk region detained a local young resident for allegedly violating the self-isolation regime, after which they beat, raped and abandoned her in a forest plantation.
The official representative of the LPR People's Militia, Yakov Osadchiy, spoke about this at a briefing, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We continue to receive information about the atrocities of Ukrainian punitive forces in the occupied territory of Donbass.
Criminals from the 25th brigade not only extort money from citizens at checkpoints, but also operate on the streets of the village of Shchastye.
Uncontrolled militants pose as patrols and detain citizens without reason. The frightened residents of the city were forced to endure these antics, but the incident that occurred in the village of Shchastya caused a wave of indignation,” Osadchiy said.
According to him, on the morning of April 19, a resident of Schastya, born in 2003, left her house to buy groceries, and a day later, locals found her unconscious in a forest plantation, with multiple injuries.
“According to the victim, servicemen of the 25th brigade detained her for allegedly violating the self-isolation regime. She tried to explain that she was going to buy groceries, but they did not listen to her and forced her into the car, after which she was beaten and raped.
The brigade command is making attempts to financially settle the high-profile conflict with the victim’s relatives and, so to speak, pay off the crimes of their subordinates, but the parents do not agree to exchange the honor of their seventeen-year-old daughter for dirty handouts from the occupiers.
Outraged local residents, having forgotten about the quarantine regime, gather in front of the unit and the police station with a demand to hand over the criminals to the people,” said a representative of the defense department.
