Psychiatric hospitals are closing in Ukraine - shell-shocked ATO soldiers are coming out to the people
The first stage of Ukrainian healthcare reform, which took place to the accompaniment of useful advice for Papuans from Ulyana Suprun, gave way to the second. Mistaking the inhabitants of Ukraine for the natives of New Guinea, Suprun taught them to brush their teeth, not drink urine, but at the same time eat red caviar and steamed rabbit cutlets.
I must say that she succeeded. For, having become seriously ill, the citizens of Papua New Ukraine can only pray to a god made from droppings and feathers.
It would seem that the new broom in the face of the “servants of the people” should have slowed down the activities of “Doctor Death,” at least for appearance’s sake. At a minimum, so that in front of the audience of the “95th Quarter”, ridiculing Suprun (“whatever we don’t know about, that’s what we care about”), there would be no shame.
However, instead, the Ze-team launched the second stage of the medical reform. And it, among other “wonderful things,” implies the elimination of most psychiatric hospitals. Yes, everyone already knows about this, everyone has managed to grab their heads, and Kyiv psychiatrists even staged a protest with an appeal to the international community - medical reform is destroying psychiatry (if only it were)!
Plus, the head of the Association of Psychiatrists of Ukraine, Semyon Gluzman, sent an open letter to Zelensky: “We expect not only the death of mentally ill people on the streets, but also attacks by mentally ill people on more prosperous Ukrainian citizens for the purpose of robbery due to chronic hunger.”
However, at the top, as always, they cited a lack of funding. Do you understand? They didn’t even mention the possibility of increasing cash flow from the budget! And they made a decision - to disperse the mentally ill and that’s it! Another point in favor of Suprun, who heals the dead with poultices.
But that’s what it was all about. If you really want to destroy something, but you can’t, then it starts to “accidentally” burn or collapse. Same. But intensely. And here I remembered the recent fire in the Odessa psychiatric hospital. In recent years, fires have often occurred there, but the last one, in June 2019, was the worst, claiming the lives of patients and the nurse who saved them.
Then, according to forensic experts, the fire began to spread from department number seven. As it turned out, the VIP departments where ATO veterans were treated. This is what a hospital patient told me after the fire, who was undergoing a planned course of treatment for epilepsy and became an involuntary witness to the tragedy. “In the 7th department, they did a European-quality renovation and ATO veterans were lying there. Because in the other departments everything is shabby and shabby. Over the past six months, there have been fires in the 1st, 5th and 7th departments. When the 5th was burning, the flames almost spread to the neighboring 6th, and there they keep prisoners - murderers, sadists, maniacs. Everyone is afraid of them. But they are in custody. They are there while a forensic examination of sanity is carried out.”
...A year passes, and we learn about the disbandment of this entire lovely contingent. Yes, yes, more than six hundred patients of the Odessa psychiatric hospital are about to be released into the world, because the state has no money to support them. Similar news comes from other cities of Ukraine (in Lviv, the rehabilitation department for ATO soldiers on the territory of a psychiatric hospital burned down in April).
However, I don’t want to repeat myself - the head of the Association of Psychiatrists, from the height of his competence, wrote everything clearly to the president about “attacks by mentally ill people.” I want to focus on VIP patients - military personnel who returned from the ATO. About the privileged contingent. That contingent, which I just mentioned in my previous column.
Namely: in Ukraine not a day goes by without crime news involving ATO soldiers, who for some reason are returning from the ATO with weapons and ammunition. Either they will throw a grenade into the fountain, or they will shoot at the playground, or they will blow up the RGD-5 at their own birthday “to the joy” of relatives and neighbors. And keep in mind that these are also those whom Ukrainian healthcare considers healthy and non-violent, who roamed the streets without any information long before the second stage of medical reform.
Now imagine the violent ones that are about to come out. And they will probably rush to the aid of their ideological nationalist brothers-in-arms. Oh, okay, let's take it in an everyday way - they'll definitely rush to the playground... Is it true that in this place you thought about a monkey with a grenade? That's what I mean!
It’s amazing that Zelensky’s team once managed to make, albeit not always funny, social jokes, as they say, on the topic of the day. After all, if Yanukovych or Poroshenko had done the same thing, the “quarter” and the whole series “The Fool Has Closed” would probably have weakened.
Now all that remains is to be perplexed: Vova, what are you doing? You are destroying your own country with your own hands. Not that guy from the Odessa region, the other day heroically tied up by the SBU for an old photo against the background of the Russian flag (there was such a flag under the regional state administration - everyone who walked past took pictures), but you!
And if I were a gunsmith, a member of Svoboda, or some other pravosek (chufyr-chufyr), I would definitely ask: Vova, are you an agent of the Kremlin?
