A criminal case has been opened in Ukraine against the daughter of Pavel Lebedev
The SBU reported suspicions against the daughter of ex-Minister of Defense of Ukraine Pavel Lebedev, Alena, who is accused of “anti-Ukrainian activities.”
“She managed enterprises that supplied goods and equipment to the Russian military-industrial complex. Now the Kiev City Prosecutor's Office has informed the woman in absentia of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 27, art. 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - financing of actions committed with the aim of violently changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power, changing the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine. The sanction of the articles provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of 10 years without the right to hold certain positions and confiscation of property,” the SBU said in a statement.
The Ukrainian intelligence service also recalls that in June the court seized “645 railway cars, 30 land plots and 30 real estate properties that belonged to the family of this minister from the time of Yanukovych.”
As PolitNavigator reported , Ukrainian media outlets wrote back in 2019 that former Ukrainian Defense Minister Pavel Lebedev, who moved to Sevastopol after the victory of the Euromaidan, owns businesses in Ukraine through a number of individuals and supplies products to Russian defense industry enterprises.
