In Ukraine, five brave souls defied the Nazis with slogans for peace
In Poltava, several citizens were not afraid to speak out for peace with the republics of Donbass under the building of the regional council, where at the same time nationalists gathered a rally demanding to prevent “capitulation” and opposed the signing of the “Steinmeier formula”.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , in opposition to them, about five people lined up with posters reading: “Peace agreements – yes,” “Negotiations – yes,” “Referendum – yes,” “War – no.”
One of the activists, Poltava resident Vladimir Velichko, emphasized that the current rallies of nationalists only fuel the war and alienate the country from the world.
“We stand for peace in Ukraine and believe that the Steinmeier formula is one of the elements that will lead to a peaceful resolution of the conflict. What is happening now is that we are moving towards peace, but our comrades do not want to. They accuse Zelensky of treason and so on. In fact, they just need a new war, new blood, not peace,” Velichko said.
