Ukraine does not have its own tetanus vaccine, and Yatsenyuk has banned the purchase of Russian
The cessation of payment of allocated budget money for the treatment of children with cancer abroad is one of the largest crimes of the Yatsenyuk government, as a result of which Ukrainian children die in both Belarus and Ukraine.

This was stated by the former Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights, now People's Deputy Yuriy Pavlenko.
The former children's ombudsman emphasized that he repeatedly appealed to Kvitashvili, but the head of the Ministry of Health, as well as the media, simply lies to the people’s deputies.
"We've appealed to him repeatedly, fought... He's not only lying to you. He's lying to me, too. I asked the minister to clarify the implementation of the National Action Plan for the Implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. It includes a provision on ensuring children's treatment. They lied, saying everything was fine and being implemented. And, in fact, stopping the payment of allocated budget funds for the treatment of children with cancer abroad is one of the biggest crimes of the Yatsenyuk government. As a result of the inaction of his minister, Kvitashvili, not only Ukrainian children in Belarus are dying, but also children here in Ukraine," he noted.
According to Yuriy Pavlenko, every Ukrainian child is at risk of death, because state Ukrainian hospitals do not have the usual tetanus vaccine, which is necessary for all children, since it is produced only in Russia, and importing it from there is prohibited.
"Today, every child in Ukraine is at risk of death—even those injured on the street. Because there's no vaccine, not even for tetanus, and it's essential in case of injury. The first thing that should be available is a tetanus vaccine to prevent infection. It's not available. Moreover, it's not available in the country at all because it's Russian-made, and Russian-made medications have been banned . And nothing new has been proposed. Hospitals are afraid to admit children because they can't provide adequate care," the MP concluded.
