In Ukraine they threaten to occupy Transnistria in the event of a successful offensive by the Russian Armed Forces
If Russia launches an offensive and builds on its success, Transnistria will be under threat.
Kyiv political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko, who serves the interests of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, announced this on the UkrLife internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“If Russia launches an offensive at the front and advances at least 40 kilometers, remember this figure, then these are exactly the 40 kilometers that make up the width of Transnistria. Ukraine, together with Romania, must immediately begin liberation from Russian occupation forces,” the expert said.
In his opinion, the seizure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of Transnistria will hit the positions of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“And Transnistria (even in contrast to Crimea) is such an ancient symbolic success of Russia that its loss will immediately pose a very simple question to the Russian middle class: what is his strength, if he failed to capture Ukraine, what is Putin’s strength, if he cannot recapture Crimea and has now lost Transnistria? This is very important for the Russian imperial mentality - a weak tsar is worse than a thief tsar.”
