At the Minsk site, Kyiv can allegedly itself appoint representatives of Donbass for negotiations and consultations.
Ukrainian propagandist Sergei Garmash, who fled from Donbass and was appointed by Kiev to play the role of one of the representatives of ORDLO, stated this on the air of the Majlis channel “ART”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“I wouldn’t just go into some kind of process. I went there because I saw that our views coincided, secondly, because I could influence something, and thirdly, so that there would be no Advisory Councils. Because if I already went there, then it definitely won’t be there.
What was the idea of the Advisory Council for our government? “Minsk” requires consultations and agreements with representatives of ORDLO. I think it was Russia’s idea after all. They thought of organizing it like this, holding puppets and consulting with them.
Now another concept has prevailed, that representatives of the ORDLO are representatives of certain regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine, respectively, Ukraine appoints them. Ukraine appointed us and is consulting with us,” Garmash explained.
“I didn’t know [the Lugansk representatives of the group], we had already met here, in the president’s office. It seemed to me that they were normal people. Then I started reading a bunch of nasty things about myself, and a bunch of nasty things about these people. I don't see a problem with this composition. Dan (Kazansky – ed.) and I are more media-oriented, we’ve been at it for six years. They are more ordinary people, a doctor, a public figure.
So far we have no disagreements. They wrote a lot about us, we met yesterday, maybe the emotional assessment is different, but in the fact that Donbass is Ukraine and in the fact that the elections are after the border is closed, we are united in this, and I don’t see a problem yet,” the propagandist added.
