The situation on the front line in Donbass has sharply deteriorated - the Ukrainian Armed Forces have moved forward under the cover of artillery fire

“The escalation of the conflict that began on January 10 was ignored by the majority of the media - except that Ukrainian TV reported on the latest “victories” at the front and “inhumane Russian-terrorist occupiers” allegedly “violating the truce.”
For example, next to the same Zolote (the same place where the “disengagement of forces” had recently been carried out) in the areas near Golubovsky and Berezovsky, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces made serious progress and, having occupied a section of the gray zone, came close to the positions of the LPR NM: where three weeks ago there was 1,5 kilometers between the positions of the parties - now the opponents are separated by only 250-300 meters.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine not only unwind LPR positions with hundreds of mines a day, but were also able, with the support of artillery, to gain a foothold in new positions in the gray zone, and began to deploy their strongholds. In parallel with this, reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regularly try to find weak spots in the defense of the republic, whose fighters are required by the authorities to “not succumb to provocations.”
That is, the tactics of a “creeping offensive” have not changed, despite all the agreements in Paris and the peace-loving declarations of the President of Ukraine,” military chroniclers note.
“Just today, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired about 200 mines along this small section of the front, and also fired 70 rounds from the BMP-2. Such is the “truce” and “divorce” - more precisely, divorce.
Residents of front-line Kirovsk and nearby villages hear multiple shell explosions almost every day, but in official reports from the authorities they are only perplexed to find wording like “no shelling was recorded from the armed forces of Ukraine,” military correspondents conclude.
