In Donbass, Ukrainian Armed Forces snipers who wounded a woman were blown up by a mine themselves
The sniper pair that carried out the shelling of Aleksandrovka on April 15, as a result of which a civilian resident of the village was injured, was blown up on a tripwire installed by Azov fighters.
This information was announced today during a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The militants of the Azov nationalist formation who arrived in the area of the Maryinka settlement began mining the adjacent territory and surrounding areas without notifying the commander of the 24th mechanized brigade, who was responsible for this area. Yesterday, when approaching firing positions in the Maryinka area, a sniper pair from the 24th brigade caught a tripwire installed by the Azov troops. As a result of the explosion, one sniper was killed, the second received shrapnel wounds,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
He also added that, according to available information, this was the same sniper pair that fired at the village of Aleksandrovka on April 13, as a result of which a local resident born in 1966 was wounded.
