Their current task is to defame the traffic police officers, who during the hot revolutionary days tried, in order to save the lives of drivers, to stop the Automaidan cars rushing at exorbitant speeds. Of course, no one stopped, and the police, using the old database of license plates, sent administrative protocols to the place of registration of the owners of the car. Since the database was old, there were some errors. But the AutoMaidan activists now feel like they are making the law. And, despite the fact that after the victory of the coup, all administrative decisions against the AutoMaidan activists were abolished, they still feel offended and insulted, starting litigation against the patrol officers of their superiors, who signed the papers, and even against the judge.
Court decisions have already been rendered in six such cases. Five defendants, including the judge, were acquitted. Two officers from Dnipropetrovsk were sentenced to fines, suspended sentences, and disqualifications from working in law enforcement.
