“We already know everything, we’ll go,” volunteers about returning to Donbass
In the event of a Ukrainian attack on Donbass, many volunteers who fought in 2014-15 will return to duty and defend the LPR and DPR.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this during a press conference in Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Volunteer support was important in 2014-2015. Now the situation can also reverse if Ukraine unleashes full-scale hostilities - I know that volunteers will go again.
Over the past months, I have received hundreds of assurances: “As soon as it starts, we are with you. We already know everything, we’ll go.” And that's just me. I can imagine how many such requests there are in general.
Therefore, everything is obvious here - Russian people cannot stand aside if they see injustice. If they kill civilians, Ukraine will kill using Western weapons as well - this is unfair,” Pushilin said.
