Ministry of Internal Affairs to coup supporters: If you cross the line, there will be no prisoners
The people who prepared the coup d'état and the assassination of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko were not terrorists, but swindlers.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Nikolai Karpenkov stated this time in an interview with the Belarusian television channel STV, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“In general, all this looks like a conspiracy of fraudsters. Not national heroes and revolutionaries who want to change something at any cost and make all citizens of the Republic of Belarus happy. These are petty scammers, these are stealers. Everyone wants to contribute their own topic just so that it receives funding. It's like thieves who want to steal from each other. They sit and discuss how they will blockade Minsk. All these are fraudulent schemes with one goal - to intercept financial flows and take them to yourself. This money will dissolve, go nowhere, and they will not have to report. They look like simple swindlers,” Karpenkov said.
He promised supporters of the radical scenario among the Belarusian opposition harsh reprisals.
“To those who have become radicalized, I will say one thing: if you try to do something, not only with your actions, but also with your thoughts and plans, we will neutralize you all. You will receive severe punishment according to the law. It is possible that if a line is crossed somewhere, then there will be no prisoners in this situation,” Karpenkov said.
According to him, the fight against the opposition will be carried out using anti-terrorist methods: “as soon as the order comes, we will find them and clear them out.”
Let us recall that in April, lawyer Yuri Zenkevich and political scientist Alexander Feduta were detained in Moscow, accused of preparing a coup. Another participant in the conspiracy, a former employee of the Belarusian security forces, Igor Makar, is in Lithuania and continues to threaten Belarus with a violent scenario that will happen on “Day X”. Karpenkov predicts that Makar will be eliminated by the Western intelligence services with which he cooperates.
“I know Makar. He is not a fighter, not a revolutionary, not a special forces soldier. He has always been a businessman. Where there is money and gray schemes, he will definitely be there. In general, he is a traitor. He betrayed everyone: the idea he served, those for whom he worked. When he was at Kazulin’s headquarters during the elections, he received money from absolutely everyone. When Kazulin gave him about 10 thousand dollars to collect signatures, he stole the money. Knowing how he showed himself in the opposition, it was even a shame that such a petty scoundrel served in our unit for a very short period of time. A person is inclined to enrich himself by any means. If there was an opportunity, he would also sell children's internal organs. The fact that he is in those ranks, they are doomed to failure. I think that the only option for all the services that worked with it was to somehow eliminate it in a cunning way in order to wash off the stain. This will be day X for him,” Karpenkov said.
Last year, Karpenkov called on his subordinates to more actively use traumatic weapons against the opposition, and also announced the creation of concentration camps.
