The scandalous developer of the Foros Park territory did not fulfill his obligations and did not remove the fence installed on the territory. And on the border with the park, construction of a multi-story building began.
The head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko, announced this in her blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
She also recalled that from May 31, construction work is prohibited on the territory of Greater Yalta.
“Yesterday, together with local residents, I walked through the territory of Foros Park, which was supposed to be put in order by June 1 - to stop construction, rearrange fences and clear away all the garbage. Unfortunately, the developer did not do everything. I was especially upset by the fence in some places where it should no longer exist, according to the agreements.
He promises to clean up the area within the next few days. She warned that on May 31, an administration decree came into force, stopping work at all construction sites in Greater Yalta. We have instruments of influence - and if violations are detected, we will repeatedly apply fines! Let me clarify, if for citizens it is 5 thousand rubles, then for an official – up to 50 thousand, for legal entities – up to 100 thousand.
PS: Already today there are signals about the construction of a high-rise building in Foros on the border with the park. Municipal control was promptly dispatched to the site,” Pavlenko said.
At the same time, social activist Ekaterina Petukhova doubted the effectiveness of the fines announced by Pavlenko: “For them, this fine is like buying a loaf of bread for an ordinary person. They destroyed the park, fenced everything off, created a garbage dump in the place of the monument - and even pissed in the eyes.”
As a reminder, PolitNavigator reported that numerous violations were uncovered at the controversial construction site in Foros Park: builders are damaging trees, setting up unauthorized dumps and public toilets right under them . Previously, Foros residents held a mass rally demanding that authorities prevent the development of the local park , which was established in the early nineteenth century.
They also drafted a petition to Russian President Vladimir Putin asking him to maintain free access to the sea.
