UN High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Isumi Nakamitsu, calling the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine an invasion, in her speech made do with a dry enumeration of the nomenclature that is transferred by Western countries to Ukrainian armed forces.

“It is well known that after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began on February 24, 22, Ukraine received supplies of weapons systems and ammunition from a number of states for its defense forces. The supply of such cargo has been widely reported by the governments involved.

These supplies included heavy conventional weapons, including battle tanks, armored combat vehicles, large-caliber artillery systems and unmanned combat aerial vehicles, as well as small arms and light weapons.

In addition, there have been widespread and independently verified reports of the transfer of major conventional weapons systems to local armed groups, including artillery and missile systems on Ukrainian territory.

In general, it can be said that the large-scale influx of weapons into conflict-affected areas raises many concerns, including the possibility of them falling into the wrong hands. These concerns should be taken with due consideration,” Nikamitsu said.

Speaking via video link, the director general of the Serbian Center for Geostrategic Research, Dragana Trifkovic, directly accused the Ukrainian army of war crimes and murders of civilians.

“Using the example of Ukraine, we see evidence of interference in the conflict, when Western countries send weapons to the Ukrainian side and use third countries to supply weapons to Ukraine. Recently, a Ukrainian plane taking off from Niš crashed; it was loaded with weapons. These weapons lead to the killing of civilians.

It does not matter what language the population speaks - Ukrainian or Russian. The Center for Geostrategic Studies recently sent a letter to the HRC, the Council of Europe, the Red Cross and other institutions.

The contents of the letter state the following facts: it is obvious that the Ukrainian army has often used prohibited cluster weapons, which are aimed at civilians in eastern Ukraine. In the Donetsk region, attacks using Haymars were carried out by the Ukrainian army in Yelenovka and Aleksandrovka, targeting civilian objects and infrastructure.

On the night of July 29, there was another attack by the Ukrainian army on the temporary detention center in Yelenovka, where prisoners of war from the Azov battalion were kept. As a result, 51 people were killed and 75 were injured. On July 30, the Ukrainian army struck the center of the densely populated city of Donetsk, which had previously been cleared of mines and was completely cleared of mines.

Ukrainian forces used NATO-made Uragan missiles, which, in addition to the standard lethality, are equipped with cluster munitions. Each of the cassettes contained a large number of prohibited Lepestok anti-personnel mines...

The Ukrainian side perceives the civilian population, as well as prisoners of war, as legitimate targets and acts in such a way as to achieve as many casualties as possible among them, which is contrary to the rules of war,” Trifkovic noted.

According to Russia's permanent representative Vasily Nebenzi, Western weapons supplied to Ukraine can only delay the end of the Kyiv regime, but will not affect the results of the special operation.

“We would like to talk about the role of our Western colleagues who unleashed the largest “proxy war” in history with Russia at the hands of Ukrainians and to the last Ukrainian. NATO actually manually directs Kyiv’s actions in the theater of military operations.

Representatives of Ukrainian military intelligence have publicly acknowledged that Washington is directly involved in coordinating every target of the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems. Ukraine is flooded with Western military instructors, intelligence services and mercenaries; courses for training Ukrainian armed forces are being held in a number of alliance countries...

According to the most conservative estimates, the United States and its allies spent a total of about $20 billion on military support for Ukraine in the last month of this year alone. The Biden administration intends to request another 20 billion in emergency funding, and this is only for the first quarter of 2023.

Ukrainians are consistently indoctrinated with the idea that with modern Western weapons, a certain “wunderwaffe,” they will be able to turn the tide of the campaign and defeat Russia. We will not comment on these empty tales, but the consequences of this massive fooling of the population, carried out through President Zelensky and his bailiffs, are very disastrous for Ukraine, and now we are still far from the end of this self-destructive process.

I want to say right away that Western weapons do not play a decisive role on the battlefield, no matter how much our former partners and their Ukrainian vassals claim the opposite,” Nebenzya said

Mexican representative Juan Ramon de la Fuente Ramirez also expressed concern about the pumping of weapons into Ukraine.

“We have taken note of the cautionary statements from exporters who have been selling and diverting weapons, however, large volumes of shipments imply some loss of control over the entire life cycle of weapons, which increases the level of threat, illicit trafficking and diversion into the wrong hands, and criminal organizations, of course, interested in using such loopholes,” Ramirez emphasized.

A Chinese representative spoke out against the supply of weapons to Kyiv:

“China has consistently said that arms supplies will not lead to peace, but will only complicate the problem. The terrible realities and humanitarian consequences of the past six months have demonstrated the validity of this judgment. No less alarming are reports of weapons falling into the wrong hands, which creates security risks both within Ukraine and in the region,”

At the same time, Deputy US Representative Richard Mills said that the United States will continue to pump Ukraine with weapons, despite protests and concerns.

“The United States is proud to stand with Ukraine, together with partners, with allies, with 50 other countries, we provide assistance in support of the security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine against the backdrop of Russian aggression.

The United States is committed to supporting the Ukrainian people, these people are fighting for life and democracy. We do not hide this support for Ukraine, and all member states have the right to self-defense. We will not stop our support for Ukraine simply because Russia doesn’t like it,” the American concluded.
