Moscow hinted that some US secrets could become public
Not everything is in order in the US government system. Such concerns were expressed today by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commenting on an interview with an official representative of the US State Department that he would not sit down with the Russians at the negotiating table.

“Surprisingly, in Lausanne, the State Department representative who said such a phrase was sitting at the same table with the Russian delegation. After such interviews, you wonder what is going on with public administration in the United States? How is everything coordinated there?” – said Zakharova.
She said that during the year about 60 telephone conversations took place between the two foreign ministries, and 90% of them were initiated by the American side.
“Bad thoughts come about Biden’s statements about cyber attacks being developed against Russia,” Zakharova continued to sneer. “Suddenly, as a result of these cyber attacks, for example, Russian-American negotiations on Syria will become public. They might confuse something there. It will become known to everyone who asked for what, who said what and what they asked not to advertise.”
She also commented on the US State Department's refusal to allow Russian diplomats to observe the upcoming presidential election at polling stations.
“We will take this position into account when assessing the transparency and democracy of these elections,” Zakharova said.
