Moldovan truckers demand that the government of the country provide cargo transportation to Ukraine and Russia.

First, several dozen trucks stopped on the outskirts of Chisinau and waited for the Minister of Economy Vadim Brynzan.
Without waiting, the protesters moved to the city center to the government building. But there the police told the drivers that the minister was not there. The protesters are threatening to block traffic in the city and on one of the international highways.
The reason for the truckers' dissatisfaction was the difficulties in obtaining permits to transport goods.
Earlier, Moldovan President Igor Dodon blamed the situation on the government. According to him, Moldovan officials sold for 600 euros to entrepreneurs permits for the passage of Moldovan trucks through the territory of the Russian Federation, which the Russian government issued free of charge. A total of 1250 permits were granted in September, with an additional 500 granted last week. However, in total Moldova needs 3-5 thousand permits after harvesting.
According to Dodon, over the past 6 months, the export of Moldovan wine and canned food to Russia has increased by 40%, apples - by 30%.
