“We worked closer to Kamenka, where the houses had a maximum of two floors or three, sometimes it happens, small buildings. There were local people there. But the problem is that you are afraid that they will betray you, where you sit and what you do. And when the ring began to shrink more and more, it turned out that some positions - mortars, FPV players, those flying various drones, everyone else, they had to shrink into a small group.
But there was very, very little local population left there. It’s not something that gets in the way, but when you know that someone is constantly walking past you, you should always post some kind of guard, because you don’t know, maybe he’ll crawl up to you and throw some kind of grenade.” , - said “Frenchman”.
