Today, a new image of Russia is emerging as the United States' main opponent, challenging the hegemon that many have grown tired of. Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the Politeka internet channel, as reported by PolitNavigator.
Therefore, according to Bortnik, the West is not succeeding in isolating Russia, and its economy, contrary to expectations, has not collapsed.
“If previously the national capital in the Russian financial system was 50-60 percent, today it is 80%.
If previously the Russian budget redistributed from 10 to 30% to the national financial system, today it is up to 50%.
This is despite the fact that the economy itself fell by several percent. That is, the nationalization of the Russian economy is taking place, sovereignization within - once.
The opposition has been completely destroyed, even the one that could have become the opposition. Competing regional elites are either completely destroyed or completely suppressed. A new image of Russia is being formed as a country that is fighting the United States. This image is attractive to many people in the world.
We do not realize this, we defend our country, our sovereignty, but we do not understand that many in the world are already tired of the United States, tired of the monopolar world. In Africa, in Latin America. And this image is attractive.
Even understanding that Russia is committing lawlessness, many countries and elites sympathize with it, which is why it is not possible to completely isolate this country.
