This was reported by Ukrainian News, citing First Deputy Minister of Justice Natalia Sevostyanova.
According to the official, the territory of the pre-trial detention center has attracted the attention of investors and developers.
“For example, we have an investor who is considering the possibility of building a nightclub instead of Lukyanovka. Therefore, we will, of course, discuss everything, ask the local authorities, the public,” said Natalya Sevastyanova.
According to the First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Justice, interest in the object is not unpredictable, since there is not much large territory left for development in Kyiv. At that time, the Lukyanovka pre-trial detention center occupied 100 thousand square meters.
