“This is taken out of the context of the program. “I said that it is necessary to increase attention to cultural dialogue and exchange in the eastern regions, since for a long time there has been distortion or underfunding of certain projects,” the minister justified himself.
From the words of the scandalous Nazi official, it can be understood that he remained unconvinced in his opinion, he simply believes that it should have been formulated “more carefully.”
“For a long time, historical and cultural projects have been underfunded. In this vein, I said that the moment of the spirit is being formed. And everyone was hooked by the word “genetics”. If it offended anyone, I sincerely apologize. In fact, I didn’t want to offend, I only said that now we need to increase attention to cultural dialogue and exchange,” Nishchuk said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Let us recall that on November 22, on the talk show “Freedom of Speech” on the ICTV channel, Nishchuk said:
“The situation in the east and south is an abyss of consciousness. Moreover, when we talked about genetics in Zaporozhye and Donbass, these were imported cities. There is no genetics there - these are deliberately introduced. Cherkasy is a glorious Hetman and Shevchenko region. The city of Cherkasy itself is half imported. Why? Because they were afraid of Shevchenko’s spirit. It was Soviet Union technology.”
This essentially Nazi statement by the minister caused a storm of indignation in the media and social networks. The minister was immediately nicknamed “Minister of Genetics”, as well as “GMO”. Nishchuk was accused of splitting the “united country.”
