“The polling stations... I haven’t seen them yet. But they say that where there are mortars and machine guns, there are people behind them,” Ivakin said during a press conference, answering a question from journalists about the functioning of polling stations for the presidential elections in Ukraine in the Luhansk region.
“We are receiving a lot of information that attacks are possible. As they say, information is information, we will check it. But I do not rule out that this will happen here, in the Lugansk region. I have already reported: many gang formations have appeared. And from Yulia Vladimirovna they convey greetings to Tymoshenko, and from the Ukrainian authorities they also convey great greetings to us, especially from Kolomoisky. Here sometimes Lyashko drops by with his gangster apparatus. Boredom does not pass us by,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs of the LPR.
“People need to watch, maybe tomorrow they should travel less in their vehicles, look after their children, so that beautiful objects - there is information - with explosive devices are not picked up from the ground. We must be vigilant. Please contact: the police, I don’t want to say that they are fully performing their functions, but at the scene of the incident, special forces are working in full force. And regarding the protection of public order, this issue is not removed from control,” Ivakin said.
As Navigator reported, LPR leader Valery Bolotov previously announced possible provocations on May 25.
