The Russian Foreign Ministry is outraged by the termination of the broadcast of the Dozhd TV channel in Ukraine.
“This is a fact of censorship by official Kyiv, which is paradoxical. We warned that censorship based on extremist ideology would continue. And so it happened,” said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova today.

She promised to involve international organizations in the fight for the rights of the TV channel.
“We will attract the attention of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Ms. Mijatović, and will do everything to ensure that the relevant specialized international platforms not only speak out, but influence this topic. In order for the broadcast of the Dozhd TV channel and other Russian TV channels to be resumed. Although, frankly speaking, there is very little hope for this,” Zakharova said.
