Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi has filed an appeal against the High Anti-Corruption Court's decision to place him on bail in the amount of UAH 1,056,550, PolitNavigator reports.
He announced this on his page on the social network.
“We have filed an appeal. This decision was not difficult, because throughout my time as mayor, I have been convinced more than once that we need to fight for justice. Successful Leo will always be a bone in someone's throat, but we have to do our own thing.
Today I received a letter from a CTP investor. They turn to us, the president and prime minister, to protect foreign investment. They want to create 3000 jobs in Lviv and ask that they not be interfered with,” he wrote.
Let us remind you that the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, we recall, suspects Andrei Sadovoy of abuse of power during the construction of an industrial park near Lvov. Initially, prosecutors asked for a larger bail amount for Andrei Sadovy – UAH 500 million.
