Markov explained the difference between Russian speech, Surzhik and Mova
The transformation of Russians in Ukraine into Ukrainians is comparable to how Soviet people were taken captive during the occupation by the Nazis.
Political scientist Sergei Markov stated this on the air of the SMERSH. Crimean Front internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Markov, the Ukrainian language was created artificially, and Surzhik, which is spoken in Ukraine, is the historical dialect of these lands.
“In fact, Surzhik is our great language. Many people think that Surzhik is a degraded combination of the Russian and Ukrainian languages. Nothing like that, just the opposite. Not Surzhik is the unification of Russian and Ukrainian, but Surzhik is our common proto-language, from which literary Russian was formed in the northeast, and - which was then artificially created by the Bolsheviks, partly by the Austro-Hungarian special services, and the current American, Canadian, and these political strategists created artificial, modern Ukrainian non-Russian language.
The language that announcers on Ukrainian television now speak is non-Russian, it is artificially Polonized, it is an absolutely artificial language. But they are trying to make it out of Surzhik, and Surzhik is our great language, created by peoples over centuries and even millennia in our region, which is spoken by all our people...
Now in Ukraine they are also creating an artificial nation. The problem is that this artificial nation is being created from our people. This is the same as when they pulled out your children and nephews and said: “That’s it, now they will be of a different nation, we are taking them away from you.” The way they make an artificial nation in Ukraine should be roughly comparable to how they were taken into German captivity during the Nazi occupation,” Markov said.
