Lyashko spilled the beans: The Ukrainian elite earns more than the Colombian drug lords
The Ukrainian government intends to once again raise gas prices for households, citing already extremely high profitability of its production. Oleh Lyashko (Radical Party) announced this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The government again wants to raise the price of gas for another IMF loan. The profitability of the mining company, the state-owned Ukrgasvydobuvannya, is 250%. Where should tariffs be raised? At whose expense is this profitability? Colombian drug lords do not earn as much from selling drugs as our government does from selling gas to citizens,” Lyashko said.
