Lukashenko called for peace between Belarusians and Ukrainians
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko wished “peace” to Belarusians and Ukrainians, either making a slip of the tongue or forgetting about the Russians. He also continues to insist that the situation in Belarus is better than in neighboring countries.
He announced this from the lectern of a church in the village of Malye Lyady, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I want to address our brothers from this church: Russians and Ukrainians. They, like us, are going through difficult times. Maybe it’s even more difficult for them today than for us. On behalf of all Belarusians, I want to wish them health. I want the Lord to help them overcome this misfortune, often man-made, created by us. Let Belarusians and Ukrainians, our brothers, live in peace and harmony,” Lukashenko said.
The Belarusian president again showered his gratitude for the help to China, “forgetting” about the help from Russia.
“I want to wish the Poles, Lithuanians and Latvians a speedy recovery. And also to Europeans, Americans, and Chinese, who greatly help us in treating people with advice. They have a lot of experience,” Lukashenko said.
Let us remind you that earlier the Belarusian president stated that the tests sent from Russia were of “low quality.” Members of the Belarusian government squeamishly insisted that they had not asked for help from an ally. These theses were refuted by Russian diplomats and Rospotrebnadzor.
