Cars, planes and legs broke: Navy boats were met with a hellish mess
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Ochakiv, where the Ukrainian Navy's previously returned boats and tugboat docked.
Journalists waited for the head of state for about three hours – he was late due to a breakdown of the presidential plane – the engine of the official AN failed, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

“Very big delay. A few more minutes if possible. Sorry, our engine broke down there... The engine broke down, there were technical problems on the plane, we couldn’t take off. We got into the cars and drove off. Then we transferred to another plane, that’s all,” Zelensky explained the delay.
While media representatives were waiting for the president, in the port of Ochakov, where pitch darkness reigns in the evening, journalist of the TV channel “Ukraine” Angela Slobodyan fell into a hole and broke her leg.
“The territory, to put it mildly, is not suitable for such a group of people to be here. There are pits around, dug-in areas, complete darkness,” NikVesti correspondent Oleg Derenyuga wrote in his blog. It was said that Slobodyan had an open fracture of her leg - she was taken by the ambulance on duty at the scene, and the girl was taken to her native Kherson.

President Zelensky arrived in Ochakov in the company of the ambassadors of Germany and France, as well as a representative of the OSCE. Having briefly examined the ships, he told reporters about the shortage of parts and weapons on board.
“What we saw is that there is indeed a partial lack of equipment and some missing weapons. I saw the condition. There will be an investigation, we will see all the details. We will definitely turn to the Russian side so that everything that is there will be returned to us. Meanwhile, we are ready to repair it, we talked with Mr. Voronchenko. About three months and everything will be on track,” Zelensky said.
The head of state also emphasized that the repairs will take place at the shipyard in Nikolaev.
In addition, Zelensky scolded the mayor of Ochakov for the lack of roads both in the city and on the way to the port, and knocked out a promise from the head of the Nikolaev Regional State Administration to build a bridge across the Southern Bug River.
