“If only not to Avdeevka”: Ukraine is building the “Zaluzhny Line” with the help of semi-slaves
Ukraine continues to build its line of defense by analogy with the “Surovikin line”. For this, Kyiv has enough internal resources.
Political scientist Alexey Chadayev said this on radio “KP”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“There are mainly resources there, in-kind money, only for salaries. There are still a lot of unemployed people who are ready to dig something for not very much money, and thereby avoid being mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine and sent to Krynki and Avdeevka. You can pay little, but everything else - a shovel, an excavator, concrete - all this is available in its natural form. It’s not that expensive for the state,” Chadayev noted.
He believes that Russia will not repeat attempts to encircle Kharkov.
“In 2022, we were already punished for the way we surrounded Kharkov. Where the story lies is that any Russian city is designed in such a way that there are radii, radial roads leading from it in all directions to regional centers. And around it there are concentric circles, respectively, ring roads between regional centers. If you look at Moscow, you will see the same matrix almost everywhere, including Kharkov. And the problem is that these radial roads from the city to the regional center are always straighter, better, faster than ring roads,” he explained.
The only exception to this urban planning rule is Moscow, since ring roads were built here to connect regions along the outer perimeter.
“In all other cases it’s not like that, and that’s why every time you try to surround a large city, you get punched in the teeth. Simply because operations on internal operating lines, radial ones, are more convenient and faster than on external ones. The Germans received this in 1941 near Moscow, the Red Army received this in 1942 near Kharkov, and exactly the same thing happened to ours when we bypassed Kharkov along the eastern arc through Kupyansk and Izyum and further to Slavyansk. And they, accordingly, again struck radii through Balakleya,” Chadayev reasoned.
