“Will your face crack?” – even in the Rada they are shocked by the extent of Zelensky’s theft
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky calls on Ukrainians to give everything for the front, while he himself steals budget funds on a huge scale.
Former member of the presidential faction “Servant of the People”, Verkhovna Rada deputy Geo Leros stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A few days ago, President Zelensky, at a joint briefing with the President of Estonia, stated that Ukrainian men of military age should themselves return to Ukraine from abroad in order to support the economy of their state and protect it.
The call to return to Ukraine and defend your country is correct, this is the speech of a real patriotic president. But there is one thing - if it weren’t Zelensky who said it. And now I will explain why.
Zelensky received summonses from the Ministry of Defense four times - and ignored them.
But it’s much more cynical when Zelensky calls for paying taxes. In 2014, when the war began, Zelensky himself did not pay taxes - and, moreover, he siphoned millions from our country’s budget,” Leros said.
He recalled that before the elections Zelensky owned more than a dozen companies in different fields - and all of them did not pay taxes.
“But you remember very well that at the same time he was buying apartments in London worth almost five million dollars. In the same way, he managed to buy a house in Italy for four million euros.
Where, ask, if a person did not pay taxes, but at the same time was luxurious to the fullest. And why are you now, like the devil, calling on others to pay taxes? Isn't this double standards?
Journalists were able to establish that Vladimir Zelensky and his entourage, starting in 2012, received about $40 million for their offshore companies from the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.
So, the Ukrainians, to whose conscience Zelensky appeals, are extremely interested: will his face burst from the withdrawal of such capital from our country?” the deputy was indignant.
