Crimean Tatars realized their mistake: It’s time to go to Russian elections
Crimean Tatars made a mistake by not taking part in Russian elections for four years. The general director of the construction company Development Industry, Enver Emiradzhiev, said this on air on the Millet TV channel.
“We somehow didn’t react right away, but we should have. We could vote and elect our deputies to all levels of government. Then our situation would be different. We need such conditions so that we can realize ourselves. We must prepare young people, and we will already have our own representation in each district. People’s trust in the authorities will appear, because the Crimean Tatars themselves will be in power,” Emiradzhiev said.

He believes the reason is that Ukraine has taught the Crimean Tatars not to trust the state.
“Now we must unanimously go to the presidential elections and show the whole world that we are part of the Russian state. After this, the conversations we hear on television from our neighbors will stop. And the world community will look at it differently,” Emiradzhiev said.
