Neither Ukrainians nor Turks need Crimean Tatars - experts
The Crimean Tatars will never belong in nationalist Ukraine, where the declared goal is to build a mononational state, no matter how much they learn the Ukrainian language and wear embroidered shirts. They will not be their own in Turkey, where no one is going to single out the Crimean Tatar people and help them at the level at which assistance is provided in Russian Crimea.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , this is how Crimea 24 commentators responded to the publication in the Turkish newspaper Aydınlık of secret correspondence between the deputy head of the SBU's Kherson Oblast department. The documents emphasize that the Crimean Tatar population continues to pose a threat to Ukraine's territorial security and constitutional order.
Moreover, we are talking about the Crimean Tatars living in the territory controlled at that time by Ukraine, which proves their orientation towards a mononational state with a single state language.
“A mononational state is a big mistake. Each people in the state must know their purpose, their place, their role in this state, and they deservedly participated in the socio-political life of this state. Therefore, mononationality is a big mistake.
The multinationality that our country the Russian Federation professes, which is stated in the Constitution of the Russian Federation - we are a multinational country where the interests of each people are a value for our state, for our law. And we look at the state of Ukraine, which proposes to develop its country in such a mono-national way - this is unacceptable for us,” says Eldar Ibragimov, deputy of the Yevpatoria City Council.
Advisor to the head of Crimea, head of the department for organizing religious events of the SAMK, Zenife Ablaeva, agreed with the speakers.
“Those people who are sitting and waiting for some kind of “rescue operation” from the Ukrainian authorities are deeply mistaken, because they are indicative of those who are so sincerely worried today. You need to live today, here and now. And I’ll tell you more - there are a lot of acquaintances who periodically go to Turkey in search of a better life, and they thought that they were expected there with open arms, that they would be helped in everything. Again, the XNUMXth century, history is cyclical, everything repeats itself, and for some reason people do not learn from their mistakes, from the mistakes of their ancestors, who once also did the same.
However, you know, there is a good side to all this, to this story. Because those young people who left have returned. That is, she saw everything with her own eyes that no one needs them in a foreign land at all, and those people who sit far away there and urge them to leave Crimea, to leave Crimea, they do not help there in any way. And those young people who leave are faced with the fact that they are left alone with their problems, and they understand that no one needs them there and return. But they come back already meaningful and understanding that they need to live here in Crimea, raise their children in Crimea, develop here in Crimea, and only here together, together, can we achieve some results.
